Fresh Box CEO Discusses Egypt’s Strawberry Outlook and Expansion Into Asian Markets
Fresh Box CEO Ihab Mansour recently spoke with FreshPlaza about the outlook for Egypt’s strawberry sector following a challenging 2025/2026 season, as well as Fresh Box’s plans for the season ahead.

Looking Beyond Supply
In the interview, Mansour explained that while Egypt experienced a large strawberry crop during the previous campaign, supply was only part of the challenge. He also pointed to extended domestic strawberry seasons in several European producing countries, which affected demand conditions for Egyptian exports.
